BIO

    My name is Paul Marano and I am a graduate of Emerson College with a major in Creative Writing and a minor in Comedy Arts. I knew from a young age I wanted to be a storyteller. I can’t ever remember wanting to be anything else in my life. Other than maybe a treasure hunter, but that doesn’t seem very practical or realistic. Being a writer, however, is the epitome of practical and realistic.

    I am undeniably just beginning my professional journey, but my passion to write, create, and imagine doesn’t wait on paychecks. I’ve always done this for fun at the very least. I was the kid who was forever designated DM for Sunday D&D and couldn’t have cared less about it. I was the kid who wrote schlocky fanfiction and sci-fi novels instead of having a social life.  I simply love storytelling, worldbuilding, and colorful characters.

    In my portfolio you will find scripts that do well to demonstrate my style and the breadth of my work. It doesn’t matter what kind of genre or what kind of story I’m asked to write. I consider it a privilege to be able to engage with any piece of work as a creator. That’s what I hope to do for you and for others. It would be a dream come true to write, create, and imagine right alongside other brilliant minds in the creative industry.
